Krupp’s mass-produced MSF units, Germany
Krupp produced large numbers of standardised MSF plants in the early 1970s. The photograph below was taken in Krupp’s workshops, where units would be held as stock and shipped out to customers on very short delivery schedules.

18 stages produced a capacity of 500m3/d. The units were made of 90/10 copper-nickel alloy, almost throughout. The material selection paid off, as some of them were still in service 30 years later.
