Ken Klinko
The whole-process membranes man. One of the few who will get involved in any stage of a bid and project, whether the question is technical specs or hard cash.
Ken entered the membrane world through Fluid Systems in 1981, mixing process design, technical support and sales. His later work there included applying NF and brackish water RO to the emergent Florida desal market. The 90s saw a move to Hydranautics, as a VP then President, characterised by driving expansion into new markets, by expanding technologies, applications, capacities and countries of business.
Since 2006, Ken has juggled vice-presidency of CDM (where he bills himself as a 'membrane treatment best practice resource') with his own consultancy, meshing technical and commercial know-how. Holistic project overview seems to be his trademark approach in recent years, betraying an impatience with conventional engineering/marketing dichotomies.
