Chip Harris
Chief Technical Officer, Aqualyng
'Field Hand' – an enthusiastic RO educator and a tireless plant commissioner.
Chip began working in water aged 20, as a Florida water/waste operator and maintenance technician. After installing/commissioning his first membrane desalination plant (brackish) at Village Green, in Vero Beach, Florida, he didn't look back much, 'except to see who was chasing him'.
After a tedious tenure in general contracting, 1979 found him exclusively working with membrane and other technologies, and he later joined Basic Technologies, an early pioneer group in desalination in Florida. After a gamut of other employers, he is now with Aqualyng.

Chip has been fortunate enough to work with some of the best desalters in the business, and is thankful for the mentoring of everyone he has encountered there. He continues to 'attempt' to teach and present at conferences and educational institutions, whenever asked.
