Ajax A, Japan
The former Ajax RO Company built this 3,028 cubic metres / day brackish water RO system for a steel mill in Kashima, Japan in 1971.

The system was later expanded to produce 5,300m3/d, and at the time was the largest RO system in the world. The permeate was used for high-pressure boiler makeup water.
